William "Bill" Dillon

William Ray "Bill" Dillon, 68, of Zanesville, died at 4:08 P.M. Friday, September 5, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born October 31, 1945, a son of the late Harold and Jean Creviston Dillon. Bill was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, was a 35 year employee of Kroger's, enjoyed working on cars, painting model cars, NASCAR Fan and was an avid dog lover. Surviving are his loving wife, Gaynell Perry Dillon, whom he married February 14, 1970; a daughter, Amy Michelle Dillon of Zanesville; a son, William Douglas (Dionne) Dillon of Liberty, MO; a granddaughter, Ainsley Dillon of Liberty, MO; a brother-in-law, Herb Perry of South Zanesville and his loving pets , Yahtzee and Scrappy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his three cocker spaniels, Buffy, Ace and Scooby. Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Monday, September 8, 2014 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 9, 2014 with Rev. Herb Perry officiating.
