William E Greer

William E. Greer, 81, of Zanesville, died at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at his residence. He was born February 3, 1929, in High Coal, West Virginia, a son of the late William E. and Gladys Adiff Greer. He was a retired machinist for Coit Tool. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #65, VFW Post #1330 and AMVETS Post #36 and was a United States Navy World War II Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Christine A. Carver Greer of the home; a sister, Barbara (Frank) Lee of Redlands, California and a nephew, Michael (Linda) Lee of Wrightwood, California. No calling hours or services will be observed. A dignified cremation has taken place. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
