William E. Hartman, 61, of Zanesville, died at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born October 6, 1948, in Zanesville, a son of the late John William and Myrna Lynch Hartman. He was a meat cutter for Gibson's Meat Packing. He was a member of VFW George Selsam Post #1058 and the American Legion Post #29. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Debra A. Ferrell Hartman, whom he married October 6, 2005; a son, John William (Ginger) Hartman of Athens; two daughters, Candy (Kelly) Powell of Athens and Jolena (Randy) Jerrells of Zanesville; thirteen grandchildren; three sisters, Jackie (Richard) Shultz of Mansfield, Margaret (Bret) Riggenbach of Sarasota, Florida and Kelly (Ed) Saliba of Zanesville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cedric Hartman. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 1330 Pine Street, Zanesville with Pastor Brian George officiating. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
