William N.C. Lang

William N.C. Lang "Connie", 75, of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord at 7:05 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House surrounded by his family. He was born November 9, 1934, in Zanesville, a son of the late Harry R. Lang and Irene Fowler Lang Rich. He retired as an auto mechanic and had worked for the Times Recorder Motor Route. He was a member of Eagles Lodge #302. He enjoyed playing cards, sports and gambling. A friend to all. He was the loving father of seven children, Raymond Lang, Rick Lang and Robin (Carl) Jones, all of Zanesville, Randy (Lisa) Lang of Newark, Renee (Kevin) Helser and William Lang II, both of Zanesville; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Lucas of Columbus, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Lang; a grandson, Raymond Lang II; and two brothers, Ralph E. Lang and Harry L. Lang.
