William E Leslie

William E. Leslie, 73, of Zanesville, died at 8:36 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital at Genesis Good Samaritan. He was born August 9, 1936, in Zanesville, son of the late William C. and Margaret Gordon Leslie. He retired in 1991 as a civil engineer for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ and a United States Air Force Veteran. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Karen L. Kelly Leslie, whom he married July 4, 1959, of the home; a daughter, Vickie (Jerry) Mathewson of Columbus, Ohio; and a son, Mark (Nancy) Leslie of Greenfield, Indiana. No calling hours will be observed. A dignified cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Mr. William Meaige officiating.
