William Christy Stackhouse

William Christy Stackhouse, 90, of Zanesville died at 2:45 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2004 at Newark Healthcare Center. He was born August 2, 1914 in Amysville, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Duff A. & Mary Winland Stackhouse.. He retired from McGraw Edison as a welder and a World War II Army veteran. Surviving are a son, William D. Stackhouse, two daughters, Marilyn (Keith)Yost of Newark and Kristie (Pete) Dosch of Zanesville; eight grandchildren; three neices; Linda Thompson, Jamie Mahon, and Barb Shook; and a nephew Tim Stackhouse. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death his wife, Betty Jane Neff Stackhouse who died March 24, 1994 , three brothers and two sisters. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2004 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2004 with Pastor James Young officiating. Burial will follow at Chandlersville Cemetery, Chandlersville.
