William Kenneth Starling, 96, of Nashport, died at 12:21 A.M. on Monday, August 8, 2016 at his residence. He was born September 4, 1919 near Chesterhill, in Morgan County, son of the late Kenneth L. and Grace Foreman Starling. He was a retired farmer. After graduating from Chesterhill High School in 1937, he lived near Pleasant Valley before moving to the Nashport vicinity. For many years he raised Corriedale sheep and lambs, as well as buying lambs at sales, including purchasing feeder lambs from San Angelo, Texas. On June 17, 1955, he married the former Dorothy Vickers at Liberty, Indiana, and they were married for nearly 58 years before her death in 2013. William was a member of the Muskingum County Farm Bureau, the Morgan County Historical Society, a lifetime member of the Nashport-Richvale Grange, a Presbyterian by faith, and a former Licking Township Trustee. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Alva Starling. A private burial took place at Frazeysburg Cemetery, Frazeysburg..
