Wilma Maxine (Bolitho) Norris, 89, of Zanesville, passed away at 8:20 A.M. on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at The Oaks at Northpointe. She was born June 3, 1935, in Green Twp. Harrison County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Carl R. and Mildred G. (DeWalt) Bolitho. Wilma retired from the Lear Corp where she worked as an Assembler and Inspector. She enjoyed tending to her flowers. She was a country music fan, especially Loretta Lynn and Elvis. She loved to decorate during the Holidays and in her yard. She liked watching gameshows and Home Improvement channels, puzzles and a carmel macchiato.
She is survived by her son, Timothy (Tracy) Bolitho; two grandchildren, Casey (Tony Warne) Bolitho, and Ely Bolitho; siblings, Carol DeWalt, Carl “Bud” Bolitho Jr., Audrey (John) Birney, Norma Cagot, and John (Karen) Bolitho.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William “Buddy” Norris; seven sisters, Ellen Ross, Martha Boone, Virginia Bailey, Dolores Ross, Jane Coffield, Janet McAfee and Kay Eddy.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Buddy at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville.
